About me
I am Levi de Weerd, a 28-year old Business Media Designer from Nijmegen. In 2021 I obtained my HBO Bachelor degree for the study of Communication & Multimedia Design at the HAN, Hogeschool Arnhem Nijmegen. For my study, I did two internships. The first one at the Marikenhuis in Nijmegen, a walk-in centre for people who have been struck by cancer, the second one at the furniture maker/work company Stadsboom. On the internship page, I explain my choice of companies and provide more information about the assignment of these internships. Working for these companies offered different and interesting angles of view.
During my education I got insight in the field of marketing, communication and design. Now I have a lot of experience in working with various software programs, such as Google Analytics and the Adobe package (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator etc). With these (and other) tools I set up a number of communication & marketing campaigns for my study.
I currently work at Envolutions as a Content Marketer. In this role, I am responsible for writing blogs and landing pages for clients. I ensure that the content is well-optimized for SEO, so it ranks well on Google. Additionally, I upload the content to the websites myself and monitor its performance to see how well it ranks.
Social life and interests
I am actively engaged in various sports, including soccer, tennis, cycling, and mountain biking. In addition, I enjoy being involved in a wide range of side projects and initiatives. Currently, I am collaborating with a friend on the development of a travel blog website. My main interest lies not in building the website, but in finding ways to drive traffic and engage visitors.
